Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 5, 2026.
This policy explains how Qontora Design collects and uses personal data when you visit qontora.design, contact us or use our design services.
We handle personal data in accordance with the Republic of Moldova’s Law No. 195/2024 on the Protection of Personal Data, effective from August 23, 2026, and the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) where applicable.
Who we are
The data controller is Qontora Design S.R.L., IDNO 1022600053579, registered at str. Drumul Crucii 15, Chișinău, Republic of Moldova (“we”, “us”, “Qontora”).
For privacy questions or requests, contact hello@qontora.design.
What we collect
- Inquiries: your name, email, telephone number, company details and any information or attachments you share when contacting us.
- Client projects: contact details, project briefs, correspondence, agreements, approvals, invoices and payment records. Project materials may also contain names, photographs or other personal information.
- Technical information: IP address, browser and device information, access times and security or error logs needed to operate and protect the website.
- Optional analytics: information about website visits and interactions, where analytics tools are enabled with your consent.
Please provide only information relevant to your inquiry or project. Our services are intended for business and professional audiences, and we do not seek children’s personal data.
Why we use your data
We process personal data to:
- Respond to inquiries and prepare proposals — to take steps you request before entering into a contract, or based on our legitimate interest in answering business inquiries.
- Deliver services and manage projects — to perform our contract with you. When you represent a company, we rely on our legitimate interest in managing that business relationship.
- Maintain accounting and tax records — to meet legal obligations.
- Operate the website, prevent abuse and protect legal rights — based on our legitimate interests.
- Use optional analytics or send promotional messages — based on your consent.
Contacting us does not automatically subscribe you to marketing. Providing information is generally voluntary, but without necessary contact or project details we may be unable to respond or deliver services.
Who we share it with
Where necessary, we share relevant information with authorised team members, project collaborators, hosting and email providers, file-storage and collaboration services, accountants, legal advisers and payment providers.
Providers processing data on our behalf are subject to appropriate contractual, confidentiality and security requirements. We may also disclose information where required by law.
We do not sell or rent your personal data or share inquiry details for another company’s marketing.
Some providers may process data outside Moldova. Such transfers must use a mechanism permitted by applicable law, such as an applicable adequacy decision or appropriate contractual safeguards. Contact us for information about relevant destinations and a copy of applicable safeguards.
Client materials and portfolio
When we process personal data on a client’s instructions, the client generally remains responsible for that data, and our processing is governed by our agreement with them.
We establish an appropriate legal basis before publishing identifiable personal information in portfolio projects or testimonials. Permission to display a design does not automatically authorise publication of all personal data within it.
How long we keep it
We retain personal data only for the relevant purpose:
- Inquiries — until the request and any agreed follow-up are complete.
- Project materials — throughout the project and any agreed support or archive period.
- Contracts and financial records — for applicable accounting, tax and legal-claims retention periods.
- Technical and analytics data — according to the relevant operational purpose and service configuration.
Legal obligations or an unresolved dispute may require longer retention. When data is no longer needed, we delete or irreversibly anonymise it.
Cookies
Our website uses cookies and similar technologies to support its functions and remember preferences.
Optional analytics and marketing technologies are enabled only with your consent. Where offered, cookie settings allow you to accept, reject or withdraw optional consent. Simply browsing the website does not constitute consent.
You can also manage cookies through your browser settings, although blocking necessary cookies may affect website functions.
Your rights
Subject to applicable legal conditions, you may request access, correction, deletion or restriction of your personal data, object to processing, and receive a portable copy where applicable. You can withdraw consent at any time without affecting processing lawfully carried out beforehand.
Email hello@qontora.design to exercise your rights. We may reasonably verify your identity. Requests are normally free, and we respond within one month. Where legally permitted, complex or numerous requests may require up to two additional months; we will explain this within the initial month.
You may lodge a complaint with Moldova’s National Center for Personal Data Protection, at datepersonale.md, or another competent supervisory authority where GDPR applies.
Security
We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data, including restricted access and controls over how information is shared. No online service can guarantee absolute security.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when our practices or legal obligations change. The date above shows the latest revision. Where required, we provide additional notice or obtain fresh consent.
